Christmas Day

Continuing with our Christmas tour of homes, we spent most of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at our own home.  Due to the timing of all our family gatherings, we actually have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to spend with just our family.  It's not lost on me that it's just the six of us, I know not everyone is able to do that, but it is very special to me.

Sophie Kate woke up feeling much better on Christmas Eve...

SK ready to go to the Christmas Eve service at church.

Love this picture of all the kids taken at our church on Christmas Eve.
(sweet little Grey always attentive to his little sister)

SK made a new friend at church...

We had dinner at Chad's parents house on Christmas Eve and then headed home to get everyone snuggled in bed for Santa to come.

And then bright and early Christmas morning...

Good gracious, he got the Boba Fett blaster he wanted...

and his drums.

Jacob trying out his new bike...

Sophie Kate finally woke up to see what Santa brought her...

SK with her new Strawberry Shortcake doll...
The boys were so sweet with her and were very excited to help her open her gifts.  We had a wonderful morning spent with each other and with our church family.

I miss all of them terribly today.  The boys are back in school and Chad is back at work and it's just SK and I and the quiet.  However, I'm not done yet there's more to our Christmas Day, stay tuned.  Thanks for checking in on us.
